Itsy Bitsy Triple Crown

Triple Crown was selected as yearling in partners with Hawkwinds Farm to enhance our breeding programs. He has forfilled all of our dreams! We feel he is the ideal cross for our current bloodlines and with his short straight back, exquisite head, extremely wide chest, huge deep hip, and solid legs, he has contributed a ton to both our breeding programs. He has produced phenominal foals with his showy attitude and excellent conformation that have excelled in the show ring staying at the top of their classes, with many first placings. His oldest daughter, Hawkwinds Liberty Belle, as a 3 year old went Grand Champion in 2012. In 2013 his daughter, Hawkwinds Ruffian, was 1st place 2 year old at the Wisconsin State Fair and 1st place Jennet under 36" at the Ingham Donkey & Mule show where she also went Reserve Champion. In 2013 his daughter Hawkwinds Rachael Alexander was 1st place foal at the Ingham Donkey & Mule show and 1st place foal at the Wisconsin State Fair. We were thrilled when the judge stated over the microphone that Lexi almost received Reserve Grand Champion and would be the donkey in the line up to watch out for in the future A huge thank you to Itsy Bitsy Burro Co. for the opportunity to own this great boy.

TC’s bloodlines are impeccable and carry the quality traits of not only conformation but multiple champion title winners and producers. TC’s sire, Sunset Acres Smart Derby, was the 2006 National Grand Champion Jack and Best of Breed, in Shelbyville, TN, in 2007 he returned to Shelbyville and was Grand Champion Jack and Best of Breed once again, and in 2008 he once again returned to Shelbyville to be named the 2008 Grand Champion Jack. Derby also has been awarded multiple grand champion titles. TC is out of a great dam, Itsy Bitsy LN Sonne, who has multiple Grand Champion Model donkey awards, she has produced champion offspring both in the United States and England. Her son Itsy Bitsy Tomcat has won multiple Champion Miniature Donkey titles in England, her son Itsy Bitsy Burro Co Majestic was 1st place NMDA Miniature Jack Yearlings at the NMDA NCSF Miniature Donkey Show and Grand Champion Jack at the 2004 Dixie Classic Mule & Donkey Show, her daughter, Itsy Bitsy Burro Co Her Majesty, won her class at the 2006 NMDA Nationals.

TC had a fantastic show season in 2008 topping it off with winning Reserve Junior Champion at the Great Mule & Donkey Celebration in Shelbyville, TN. He has gone on to win numerous Grand Championship and Best of Breed titles.
